Awards and Achievements Monday May 16, 2011 We really try to foster a team attitude in our program. One of the things that we feel is so important here at Biamonte Stables is working together and supporting one another. We like to take the time to recognize one another's accomplishments, no matter how big or how small. To us they are all big and all important.
Achievements Janet Did her WHOLE lesson off the longe line for the first time!! Go Janet!! 2006 Show Season Some of you have decided to show! October 8th our Hunter team was out and about. Ali, Cadera, Amanda and Erin all made us proud by turning in some great rides on Whisper and Shanelle! Everyone had a great time. The mares were incredibly well behaved, as always, and we had great weather again. It was a first show for Cadera and Ali. Cadera did leadline ages 6 to 8, and Ali did ages 5 and under.. Between the two of them there were 3 red ribbons, one green ribbon and two beanie babies. Great job lead liners! Amanda and Erin rode in the Beginner Equitation and Pleasure classes. Collectively the7 brought home a second, third, and two fourth places in a very large class with some steep competition. Great job ladies. We are very proud of their sportsmanship and team work!! Your horses turn out was very good...they looked beautiful.
September Has An Exciting Start! We started our fall showing season with a Hunter Show. Again we had perfect riding weather. Laine and Kate J went to this show with Shanelle and Buddy. We were very proud of their riding, team work, and sportsmanship! This was Laine's first show and she rode like we have never seen her ride before. In her three classes she brought home one 1st place and two 2nd places. Not to bad for the first time out. Shanelle was turned out beautifully, as only our dark bay diva would have it. Kate, normally a dressage rider, decides to give a Hunter show a try just for kicks. While this was Kate's third show, it was her first time at trying Hunters. She road beautifully, making it look so easy. From her three classes she brought home a 4th, 5th and 6th place. Great job switching disciplines Kate! Buddy looked very handsome but was his usual modest self. Great job ladies!!! Great riding, teamwork and sportsmanship! You made us very proud!!!
Three of our young riders (Kate 13, Karly, 16, and Jess, 18) showed under a full moon Aug 8th, 2006. What a beautiful night to ride. Picture perfect weather, and a huge gorgeous full moon over head. And it was a prime example of why we are always telling you we want drivers, not passengers up there! Each of you impressed us and we were very proud of your handling of the situations that arose! You made your trainers proud!
Kate also had a challenging evening, but a great learning experience. Secret was a four year old at his second show, on a full moon. He became the where pony...where is he going?! Kate did an awesome job maintaining her composure and completing her tests despite the fact that her pony was afraid to be alone in the show ring and kept trying to go back to the herd in the schooling ring. She still managed scores in the 50's but was eliminated from one test as the where pony stepped out of the ring. Way to ride Kate!! Mean while, Karly and Saves the Day (Rufio) had their own full moon thing going on in the upper ring. Rufio had some full moon nerves going on and was a bit sassy around the perimeter of the ring. Karly stayed together and rode like a pro turning in two beautiful rides with a 61.818 in training test 1 for a 4th place. In training test 2 the earned an impressive 69.692 winning the class. Great Job Karly! All in all the trainers aged a bit, the riders learned a lot and the spectators had a good show. Who says watching dressage is like watching grass grow!
